Dark Corners (Recommended)

books

Dark Corners by Ruth Rendell

Psychological thriller offers no mystery, but deliciously twisted, terrible people.

Note: Ruth Rendell passed away in May 2015. Dark Corners is Rendell’s 66th and final novel which makes the last, perfect, wonderful sentence especially poignant.  Rendell also wrote under the name Barbara Vine, and is noted for getting into the heads of her beloved psychopaths, making them the stars of her stories. She is also known for a series of police procedurals featuring Inspector Wexford.
